Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre


The Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) is one of Europe’s most modern venues and is linked to the hotel.
The AECC opened in 1985, primarily to provide a permanent venue for the biennial Offshore Europe Exhibition and Conference.  Since opening, both the variety and volume of events taking place at the Centre has grown significantly and includes international congresses, trade and public exhibitions, rock and pop concerts, live sporting events, award dinners and corporate dinner dances.

One of the Centre’s major advantages is its flexibility. The majority of the larger halls can be subdivided, allowing separate conferences and exhibitions to run simultaneously. Breakout rooms have also been clustered conveniently round the larger halls, making them ideal for conference syndicate sessions or roundtable discussions, as well as useful stand-alone facilities that can be hired for smaller meetings.
